Lottie Katherine Lairson

Lottie Katherine Lairson, age 69 of Hamilton passed away at Ft. Hamilton Hospice Unit on Friday, July 13, 2007 at 9:45 PM. She was born in Irvine, Kentucky on April 30, 1938 the daughter of James and Lillie Pearl (Barnes) Lairson. Lottie, an avid bingo player who was kind to everyone she met, will be sadly missed by all. She was a member of Highland Avenue Baptist Church of New Miami and Dayton Lane Community Christian Church.

She is survived by her companion of 26 years, Harold McCracken of Hamilton; two sisters-in-law, Thelma Lairson of Heyworth, Illinois and Gertrud Lairson of New Miami; and many nieces, nephews, and close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Mark Gutherie; three brothers, Jewel "Joe," Ruben, and Manuel Lairson; four sisters, Frances Lairson, Margaret Shutt, Mary Noe, and Norma Creech; and three nephews, Rex Allen, David Lairson, and Michael Riley.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Tuesday, July 17, 2007 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Richard Meeker of Dayton Lane Community Christian Church officiating. Burial will follow in St. Stephen’s Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
