Louise R. Bayliss

Louise R. Bayliss, devoted mother, sister, and friend, age 79 of Hamilton went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at 7:25 PM at West Chester Medical Center. She was born in Laurel County, Kentucky on March 12, 1932 the daughter of William Marion and Rutha (Johnson) Roark. Louise was a member of West Side Church of Christ. Also affiliated with the Liberty Home Association, and the Women of the Moose Chapter 28. On May 28, 1962 in Newport, Kentucky she married her beloved husband Rueben Bayliss, who preceded her in death in 1992.

She is survived by a son, Steve (Carla) Bayliss of Hamilton; a daughter, Sherri (Robert) Haynes of Ross; two brothers, Carl Roark of Dry Ridge, Kentucky and Roy (Kimberly) Roark Sr. of Hamilton; a sister, Darlene Holbrook of Hamilton; and five grandchildren, Christopher Bayliss, Matthew Bayliss, David Haynes, Lauren Haynes, and Joseph Haynes; two sister-in-laws; Janice Roark, and Margie Roark; and also many beloved nieces and nephews, family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, William H. "Bill" Roark, Leonard Roark, William Robert "Bob" Roark, and William M. Roark Jr.; a brother-in-law Kennie Holbrook; and two sister in-laws, Doris Roark, and Mary Lou Roark.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at 10:00 AM with Dan Knisley of West Side Church of Christ officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A Women of Moose service will also be held at the funeral home. She is deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
