Louise (Ramsey) Chaney

Louise (Ramsey) Chaney, age 84 of Hamilton, passed away at Majestic Care Center on Tuesday, November 5, 2024. Louise was born in Jackson County, Kentucky on August 22, 1940, to Leland and Mafrey (Isaacs) Ramsey. Louise married Carl on January 12, 1963. Louise loved her family fiercely and treasured family reunions and gatherings where they often played music and sang and enjoyed precious time together. Throughout the years, Louise sang and played her guitar and loved using those gifts in service for the Lord.

Louise is survived by her loving husband, Carl D. Chaney; her son, David (Denise) Chaney; her grandson, Devin (Ashley) Chaney; her great grandson, Samuel; her sister, Kimberly Preston; and her brother Marcus Ramsey; along with many nieces and nephews whom she adored. Louise was preceded in death by her parents, Leland and Mafrey Ramsey, and brothers, Russell Ramsey, LeRoy Ramsey and Lyndon Ramsey.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave., Hamilton, Ohio, on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at 1:00 PM with Rev. Tim Oldfield, Rev. Alan Weaver, and Rev. Gary Satterly officiating.  Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home.
