Louise Reynolds, age 89 of Hamilton passed away at Westover Retirement Community on Thursday, October 9, 2008 at 7:35 AM. She was born in Mt. Vernon, Kentucky on February 5, 1919 the daughter of William and Mattie (Hansel) Mainous. On July 15, 1938 in Mt. Vernon, she married Estill W. Reynolds, and he preceded her in death in 2007.
She is survived by a son, Jack (Francene) Reynolds of Hamilton; a brother, Paul Mainous of Mt. Vernon, Kentucky; four sisters, Geneva Sowder of Fairfield, T-opal Talbot of Hamilton, Willie Holcomb of Hamilton, and Ruth Reed of Lexington, Kentucky; a son-in-law, Carl Felts of Chattanooga, Tennessee; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Wanda Felts; three brothers, Ray, Carl, and Hobert Mainous; two sisters, Alene Hasty and Anna Southard; and a great-grandson, Ryan Lehman.
Funeral service will be held at the Rose Hill Burial Park Chapel on Saturday, October 11, 2008 at 12:00 noon with Pastor Rick Witt of Faith Pentecostal Church of Hamilton officiating.
