Louise Stone

Louise Stone, age 87 of Hamilton passed away at Birchwood Care Center on Friday, March 14, 2008 at 6:45 PM. She was born in Jackson County, Kentucky on January 14, 1921 the daughter of John and Sally (Suttles) Cunnagin. Louise was employed as a custodian at Butler Rural Electric. On January 11, 1945 in Newport, Kentucky she was married to Gudgell Stone, and he preceded her in death in 1991.

She is survived by three sons, Curt (Mary) Stone of West Chester, Carl (Linda) Stone of Cleveland, Ohio, and Harold Stone of Hamilton; a daughter, Alice Ann (Bill) Francis of Oxford; a brother, Estell McQueen of Kentucky; two sisters, Elvie Potter and Ollie Evans, both of Kentucky; eleven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Cunnagin and Sally McQueen; and two brothers, Ralph and Luther McQueen.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Tuesday, March 18, 2008 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Ted Loman, Associate Pastor at Richmond Road Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
