Age 91, of Hamilton, OH, passed away at her residence on June 7, 2026. She was born in Travellers Rest, KY on February 11, 1935, the daughter of Joe and Lovis (Brewer) Young. She graduated from Boonville High School in 1953 and attended Business College in the Rentschler Building in Hamilton, OH. On June 29, 1956 she married Robert C. Farmer (R.C.) who preceded her in death in 2006. They enjoyed 49 years together. She was employed by Ohio Casualty for 30+ years, retiring in 1997. She was a long time member of the N. 7th St. Church of Christ which later became the Community Christian Church, where she was a founding member. She dearly loved spending time with her family, enjoyed watching the Reds and UK basketball on TV, playing cards, and bingo. She is survived by her children, Suzette Wentz and husband Kim of Hamilton, Robin Young and wife Kathy of West Lafayette, IN, and Bobby Farmer and wife Angie of Hamilton; grandchildren, Josh Wentz and wife Laura of Lexington, KY, Zak and Zane Farmer of Hamilton; great grandchildren, James, Daniel, and Matthew Wentz of Lexington, KY; sister Mamie Lewis of Hamilton and many other close relatives and friends. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sisters Janet Barger and Rosie Beaudoin. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 12, 2026 from 10am to 12pm with the service immediately following at Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home at 1350 Millville Ave. Hamilton, OH. Interment will be at Rose Hill Burial Park following the funeral service. Special thanks to the caring staff and friends at Woodlands of Hamilton Assisted Living. Charitable donations may be made to Day City Hospice or Community Christian Church.
