Lucile E. "Cile" Calvert, age 90 of Hamilton, passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Tuesday, January 8, 2019. She was born in Fon du Lac, Wisconsin on September 14, 1928 to Albert Sr. and Ethel (Huffman) Schomisch. On September 24, 1949 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin she married Irvine Calvert and he preceded her in death in 1984. Lucile was a member of Delta Theta Chi, Liberty Home Association, and the Lindenwald United Methodist Church.
She is survived by three children: Anne (Carey) Fender, Melissa (David) Backscheider, and Geoffrey Calvert; ten grandchildren; and fourteen great grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; five siblings, Cecil, Albert Jr., and Clarence Schomisch, June Hornya, and Chuck Schomisch; and grandson, John Fender.
Funeral service will be held at Lindenwald United Methodist Church, 3501 Pleasant Avenue, on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Robert Ulmer officiating. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery, Loveland, Ohio. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the church.
