Ludley C. Durrough Jr., age 85 of Wayne Township passed away at Westover Retirement Community on Thursday, October 13, 2011. He was born in Hamilton on March 13, 1926 the son of Ludley and Verna (Gebhart) Durrough. On May 17, 1947 in Covington, KY he married Harriet Wood and she preceded him in death in 1999. On February 14, 2005 he married Diana Allen in Hamilton.
He is survived by his wife, Diana (Allen) Durrough; a son Ludley C. Durrough III (Keri) of Hamilton; a sister, Jeanette Ruhrl of Naples, FL.; a grandson, Eric Durrough; and great-grandchildren, Ryan and Brandon Durrough. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a son Stanley Durrough.
Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Monday, October 17, 2011 at 1:00 PM with Chaplain Galen Hoffman officiating. Burial will follow at Darrtown Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday from 12 Noon to 1:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be directed to Westover Retirement Community, 855 Stahlheber Rd.
