Lula Ellen Willis

Lula Ellen Willis, age 84 of Hamilton, passed away at Woodlands of Hamilton on Wednesday, January 24, 2024. Lula was born in West Bend, Kentucky on June 15, 1939 to John Kelly Rose and Lizzie Belle (Larrison) Rose. In 1956 in Lawrenceburg, IN, she married Wayne Willis, and he preceded her in death in 2020. Lula was also a devoted member of the Hamilton Christian Center for many years. Lula (Lu) is survived by her children, Scott (Gayle) Willis and Joanie (Denny) Brooks; five grandchildren, Nathan (Jennie), Jeremy (Candice), and A.J. (Stacie) Willis, Jordan (Maegan) Brooks and Adrienne (Kevin) Lynch; nine great grandchildren, Sophie, Ethan, Hannah, Charlie, Cruz, Maggie, and Lucy Willis, Aaron and Adeline Brooks; and numerous other family and friends. Lula was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Wayne Willis, and her son Tim Willis. Funeral service will be held at Hamilton Christian Center, 1940 Millville Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio, on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at 1:00PM. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 from 11:00AM to 1:00PM at Hamilton Christian Center.
