Lynda L. Lebold

Lynda L. Lebold, age 84 of Hamilton, OH, formerly of North Canton, OH, passed away on Friday, September 13, 2024. Lynda was born in Dover, OH, on September 7, 1940, daughter of the late Mildred (Bair) Gram. Lynda graduated from Tuscarawas Valley High School, class of 1958, and later earned her R.N. designation from Akron City Hospital School of Nursing in 1961. Over the course of her nursing career, Lynda cared for patients as an intensive care nurse in Canton, OH, Danville, VA, and Fayetteville, NC. Later, she became the Care Coordinator at Passport and Assessment Supervisor at the Ohio Area Agency of Aging. She also served as Shift Supervisor at McKinley Health Center in Canton, as well as a CPR Instructor for the Red Cross. Lynda was a long-time member of Faith United Methodist Church in North Canton, OH, and was honored as Woman of the Year 2003/2004. Lynda continued to serve those in her community well into retirement, serving as Co-Chair for General Distribution at A Community Christmas of Stark County and 16th Congressional District Representative for Ohio AARP Vote. She was selected to serve on the AARP National Consumer Advisory Board where she testified before Congress on consumer confidence. Lynda enjoyed traveling with her husband, together having visited 75 foreign countries. They also enjoyed going on cruises, camping in the Blue Ridge Mountains, and spending time at the beach, especially Myrtle Beach, SC. Above all, Lynda loved her family with all of her heart, and, most of all, enjoyed providing a loving home for her family.

Lynda will be dearly missed by her loving husband of 62 years, K. Jacob Lebold; her children, David (Tanya) Lebold, Deborah (Henry "Pete") Lahrmann, Daniel (Pam) Lebold, and Douglas (Laurie) Lebold; her grandchildren, Blaise Lebold, Nicole (Tyler) Wilson, Amanda Lahrmann, Rebecca (Brandon) Clay, Jessica (Michael) Eisenman, Nathaniel (Ellen) Lebold, Jacob Lebold, Jacob Fouts, and Savannah Fouts; her great-grandchildren, Peyton, Elva, and Arya; as well as many extended family members and friends.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024 from 1:30 PM until the Celebration of Lynda’s Life at 2:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave., Hamilton, Ohio 45013.
