Lynn E. Kinkaid

Lynn E. Kinkaid, age 82 of Hamilton, passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Monday, September 23, 2024, surrounded by family and friends. Lynn was born in Hamilton, Ohio on March 24, 1942, to Charles Edward Kinkaid and Mona Lee (Milliron) Kinkaid. Lynn based his life on service to others. He was a dedicated member of his church, the First United Methodist Church of Hamilton. He was heavily involved in Butler County politics, serving his community as a member of Hamilton City Council, as the Deputy Auditor, and the Director of the Butler County Board of Elections at various stages of his career. He was a true people person who enjoyed dining out with his many great friends. He recently celebrated his fifty-second wedding anniversary with his loving wife, Norma.

Lynn is survived by his loving wife, Norma Kinkaid; his children, Lance Kinkaid (Andrea) and Elizabeth Blevins; grandchildren Alexis Kinkaid-Theobald, Lilliana Blevins, Paige, Sophia, Leah; great grandchild Brayden Welsh, twin brother Dale Kinkaid, sisters Sandy Findlow (Scott) and Artha Shollenbarger (David); and best friend Kenneth Wayne Estep.

Lynn was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Virginia Anglin, and close friend Linda Estep.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 29, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave. Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave., Hamilton, Ohio, on Monday, September 30, 2024, at 12:00 PM with Rev. Mark Finfrock of First United Methodist Church officiating.  Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park, and a Celebration of Life will be held from 3-7 at Veterans Park, 20 New London Rd., Hamilton.
