Mae Sexton

Mae Sexton, age 75 of Oxford, passed away at her home on Friday, July 14, 2023. Mae was born in Hamilton, Ohio on January 13, 1948 to the late Jessie Alfred Suttles and Mary Ellen (Morris) Suttles. Mae retired from Butler County Care Facility after over 15 years of service as an STNA. She was a member of Fellowship Christian Center. Mae enjoyed crafting, especial quilting and sewing, as well as word search puzzles. Above all, she loved her family and friends with all of her heart. Mae will be dearly missed by her children, Carla Lemmings and Jessie (Mindy) Bowling; her grandchildren, Brandon (Charity) Bowling, Dawn Crouch, Jessie Lemmings, Leonard (Candice) Lemmings, Jr., Ashley (Mike) Lane, Sam Bowling, Samantha Bowling, Sierra (John) Barnes, Whitney Sexton, Kerri Bowman, and Blake Bowman; numerous great-grandchildren; her brothers, Fred (Berna) Suttles and Jesse (Eunice) Suttles; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. Mae is reunited in Heaven with her son, Larry Sexton, Jr.; her son-in-law, Leonard Lemmings; her sister, Catherine Barnes; her brother, John Suttles; her grandson, Baby Larry; her nieces, Darcy Newsome and Eunice Suttles; and her nephew, Jason Suttles. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 20, 2023 from 11:00 AM until the time of her Funeral service at 1:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave. Hamilton, Ohio with Rev. Houston Marcum officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park.
