Malcolm Richardson, age 64 of Hamilton passed away at Ft. Hamilton Hospice Unit on Thursday, March 6, 2008 at 11:20 PM. He was born in Hamilton on August 16, 1943 the son of Melvin and Gracie (Plowman) Richardson. Malcolm was a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era from 1965 to 1966. He was employed as a meat cutter at Couch Supermarket for 12 years, retiring in 2003.
He is survived by five brothers, Alfred (Pam) Richardson of Rising Sun, Indiana, Cecil (Phyllis) Richardson of Fairfield, Thomas (Faye) Richardson, Amos (Dorothy) Richardson, both of Hamilton, and Hargis Richardson of Jefferson, Ohio; three sisters, Geraldine (Jim) McIntosh of Middletown, Carrie (Dave) Bowling of Marietta, Georgia, and Katherine (Elmer) Harrison of Hamilton; and numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Lonzil and Elmer Richardson; and three sisters, Bessie Messeling, Delora Brinegar, and Eva Duncan.
Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on at 2:00 PM on Monday March 10, 2008 with Rev. Paul Tillett of Freedom Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 12:00 noon to 2:00 PM.
