Malva Wright

Malva Wright, age 78 of Middletown passed away at Brookville Healthcare Center on Monday, March 19, 2012 at 11:15 PM. She was born in Manchester, Kentucky on July 28, 1933 the daughter of Nelson and Laura (Gilbert) Roberts. Malva was employed as a manager at Goodwill Industries for 15 years, retiring in 1995. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star. In 1958 in Hamilton she married Luther Miller, and he preceded her in death; in 1990 in Hamilton she married Marvin Wright, and he preceded her in death in 2000.

She is survived by two children, Edward Miller of Brookville, Indiana and Randall (Joelle) Miller of Florida; three brothers, Junior Roberts of South Carolina, Donald Roberts of Phoenix, Arizona, and Billy Roberts of Brookville, Indiana; three sisters, Minnie (Daniel) Jones of Brookville, Indiana, Laura (David) Hensley of Hamilton, and Martha Bever of Indiana; and a granddaughter, Toni Morgan. She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Gilbert Roberts, Beecher Roberts, James Roberts, and Fred Asher; and a sister Emma Spurlock.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Friday, March 23, 2012 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Jimmy Asher officiating. Burial will follow in Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
