Malvery C. Lester

Malvery C. Lester, age 86 of Hamilton, passed away at Bradford Place on Wednesday, April 1, 2026. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on November 12, 1939 to Oakley and Martha Hatten. Malvery was employed as an inspector for Continental Can for more than thirty years and she was avid country music fan. On September 11, 1957, she married Wayne Lester.

Malvery is survived by her husband of sixty-eight years, Wayne Lester; two children, Debbi (Rick) Pennington and Roy (Mary Jo Robinson) Lester; five grandchildren, Jason (Brandi) Pennington, Richard (Nickie) Pennington Jr., Roy (Lindsey) Lester Jr., Jon (Amber) Lester, and Charles (Kaylee) Lester; numerous great and great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, David Lester; and three siblings, Joann Muntz, Oakley Hatten Jr., and Bob Hatten.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio, on Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at 7:00 PM with Pastor Jim H. Mullins of Calvary Church officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
