Manervia Jane Dossett

Manervia Jane Dossett, age 82 of Hamilton passed away at her residence on Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at 12:01 AM. She was born in McKee, Kentucky on October 19, 1927 the daughter of Charlie and Ella (Abner) Baker. Jane was retired as a manager of ARA Food Services. She was also a longtime Pentecostal Church of God pastor and evangelist. She married James T. Dossett in Jellico, Tennessee, and he preceded her in death in 2003.

She is survived by a son, Charles Randy (Linda) Adams of Hamilton; two grandchildren, Henry Allen (Tara) Adkins and Ashley Adkins, both of Hamilton; three great-grandchildren, Hannah, Taryn, and Peyton; a sister-in-law, Brenda Baker of Texas; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers, Jim, Chester, Lester, and Lee Baker.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Monday, April 26, 2010 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Cecil Morgan and Rev. David Williams, Pastor of Pentecostal Apostolic Church of Jesus officiating. Burial will follow in Butler County Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
