Manford L. Mills

Manford L. Mills, age 57 of Hamilton, passed away at Ft. Hamilton Hospital on Tuesday, November 22, 2016. Manford was born in Hamilton on February 5, 1959 the son of Martus and Hazel (Gerhardt) Mills. He was employed at both Hamilton Wiping and Tony’s Drain Cleaning for numerous years. Manford enjoyed spending time with family, especially his grandchildren. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, and playing bingo. Manford was well known for putting others before himself.

He is survived by two children, Brad (Melinda) Mills and Christina (Brian) Rininger, both of Hamilton; four brothers, David (Anita) Mills of Hamilton, Martus (Sharon) Mills Jr of Harrison, Mike (Carolyn) Mills of Hamilton, and Phillip Mills of Cincinnati; five sisters, Debbie Isaacs of Hamilton, Juanita (Mike) Banks of Hamilton, Myna (Robert Worley) Hoog of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee, Regina (Paul Riley) Hollandsworth, and Phyllis (Gerald Burns) Gross of Hamilton; four grandchildren, Bradley Jr, Cameron, Brian Jr, and Corey; a dear friend, Linda Jones of Hamilton; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; five siblings, Charles, Ellen, Raymond, and Robert Mills, and Johnny King; and devoted wife, Cheryl Mills.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Monday, November 28, 2016 at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
