Mannon Turner, age 82 of Hamilton, passed on Monday, February 21, 2022. Mannon was born in Perry County, Kentucky, on December 15, 1939 to Bige and Mary Turner. Mannon was a United States Air Force Veteran serving from 1962-1966. On December 1, 1962, he married Ruth Ann Harden, and she preceded him in death on July 21, 2009. He enjoyed singing and dancing, sports, painting, bowling, the Cincinnati Bengals and Cincinnati Reds, and most of all spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren.
Mannon is survived by his three children, David (Pam) Turner, Kimberly Turner, and Bobby Farley; his three grandchildren, Matthew, Josh, and Julie; one sister Priscilla Lucas; and a special neighbor and friend, Glen Fildes. Mannon was preceded in death by his parents; his siblings, Pauline Turner Barger, Ambrose Turner, Elizabeth Turner Rice, Mollie Turner Osman, Squire R. Turner Jr., Roy Turner, Margaret Turner Hooker, and George Turner.
Memorial service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Ave., Hamilton, Ohio, on Friday, March 4, 2022 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Tim Smith of First Baptist Church of Trenton officiating. Burial will follow at Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 4, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home.
