Marcella Bassitt

Marcella Bassitt, age 67 of Hamilton, passed away at her residence on Tuesday, August 29, 2017. She was born in Greenfield, Ohio on May 31, 1950 to William and Genettia (Helmer) Jackman. On July 6, 1999 in Jellico, Tennessee she married George Bassitt. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, cooking, reading the Bible, and spending time with her family and pets.

She is survived by her husband, George Bassitt of Hamilton; two children, Tim (Sarah) Glaab of Oxford and Amy (Matt) Kerbo; three granddaughters, Marley and Korena Kerbo, and Jessica Riley; seven siblings, Patricia Chrisman, Cindy Jackman, Tim Jackman, Danny Cunningham, Suzan Beatty, Deanna Timmons, and Karen Bainter; mother-in-law, Nell Bassitt; sister-in-law, Debbie Bassitt; and numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral service will be held private at the convenience of the family
