Marcella Hall-Frey

Marcella Hall-Frey, age 73 of Hamilton, passed away at UC West Chester Hospital on Monday, June 19, 2023. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on July 5, 1949, to Sam Hall and Rosalyn (Elkins) Hall. Marcella was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was an avid reader and welcomed the challenge of beating anyone at Uno or Rummy. Marcella was also a huge fan of Mickey Mouse and loved the Hallmark Channel.

Marcella is survived by her daughters, Crystal (Steve) Von Bargen and Dawn (Carl) Cotter; her sister, Kathy (the late Boyce) Baker; brothers, Darrell (Karen) Hall and Michael (Phyllis) Hall; her grandchildren, Cailey, CJ(Hollyn), Lexi, Jordan, and Nate.

Marcella was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Rosalyn Hall; her fiancé, William “Bill” Steurer; sister, Loretta (James) Hanger; brother, Ronald Hall.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Ave., Hamilton, Ohio, on Saturday, June 24, 2023, at 11:00 AM with Minister Linda Hanger officiating. Visitation and service will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2023, 10:00 AM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Lung Association and the Kidney Cancer Association.
