Marcia A. Drake

Marcia A. Drake, age 74 of Hamilton, passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Monday, December 5, 2016. Marcia was born in Hamilton, Ohio on November 8, 1942 to Everett Osborne and Marietta (Long) Osborne. She was a member of St. Peter in Chains Catholic Church. Marcia was employed as a medical transcriptionist at Mercy Hospital in Hamilton for many years. She enjoyed vacationing at various beaches, and loved spending time with her family and friends.

Marcia is survived by her daughter, Kelly (Tony) Lynch, of Milton, GA; her grandchildren, Emma, Sam, and Chloe Lynch, all of Milton, GA; her brother, Paul Osborne; two nephews, Randy and Mike Osborne; one niece, Cheri Osborne; and her ex-husband, Bill Drake, of Campton, KY. Marcia was preceded in death by her parents; and one son Kevin Drake.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Julie Billiart Catholic Church, 224 Dayton St., Hamilton, Ohio, on Monday, December 12, 2016 at 2:00 PM with Fr. Michael Pucke of St. Julie Billiart Catholic Church celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 12, 2016 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at St. Julie Billiart Catholic Church.
