Margaret Borzcik

Borzcik, Margaret A., age 86 of Hamilton, OH, passed away on June 28, 2014. She was born in Nanty-Glo, PA on April 16, 1928, daughter of John & Mary (Hresko) Buschko. Early education completed in PA. On June 14, 1947, she married John J. Borzcik in St. Mary Church located in Nanty-Glo, PA. He preceded her in death on May 11, 1984. While raising her children, she continued her education, graduating from Miami University with a degree in education. She later received two Masters’ degrees. A teacher in the Hamilton schools for ten years, she later owned and operated the Immaculate Heart Co., in Hamilton. She is survived by seven children: Paul (Sara) Borzcik, Huntington Beach, CA – Susan (Doug) Pfirrman, Hamilton, OH – Elaine Steed, Hamilton, OH – John Borzcik, Traverse City, MI – Teresa (Andrew Rabins) Borzcik, St. Paul, MN – Carol (Louis) Morton, Sonoma, CA – Ann Borzcik Whitney, State College, PA. 18 grandchildren: Katie (Lee) Hicks, Neil (Ragan) Borzcik, Joni Borzcik ; Angela (Ben) Vocke, Doug (Amanda) Pfirrman, David Pfirrman; Jennifer (James) Craft, Michael Pallazza, Michelle Pallazza; Stephanie (Joseph) Wells; Sophia Rabins; Mary, Grace , Ellen and John Morton; Karen, Rebecca and Joseph Whitney. Ten great-grandchildren: Drew & Ryan Vocke; Thomas & Timothy Pfirrman; Maya & Owen Craft; Lyla Szeliga; Connor Pallazza; Turner and Trey Hicks. She was preceded in death by three brothers - Joseph, Michael & Stephen Buschko and three sisters – Ann Smith, Mary Rosario & Elizabeth Toman. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, Hamilton, OH. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday July 3, 2014 at 10:00 AM at St. Julie Billiart Catholic Church, 224 Dayton St., Hamilton, OH with Fr. Jeff Silver and Fr. Michael Pucke, con-celebrants. Internment at St. Charles Cemetery, Twin Rocks, PA.
