Margaret Evelyn Gentry, age 82 of Hamilton, passed away peacefully with her family at her side at Mercy Hospital-Fairfield on Tuesday, May 27, 2025. Margaret was born in Lebanon, Ohio on October 19, 1942 to the late Manvers Beltz and Hester (Saylor) Chaney. Margaret owned and operated Center Haven Inc. for over 30 years. Together with her husband, James, they enjoyed spending time at their place down in Woodson Bend on Lake Cumberland for many years. They also enjoyed traveling, cruises and camping, but above all, Margaret loved spending time with her family and friends. Margaret is survived by loving husband, James Gentry: her children, Harold (Paula) Gentry and Sheila (John) Fohl; her grandchildren, Sarah (Lee) Ballard, Tyler (Sarah) Gentry, Brandon (Kelli) Fohl, Shana (James) Robinson, and Lexie Fohl; her great-grandchildren, Colton, Cailyn, Cayne, Carleigh, Callie, Conner, Cassidy, Kaidon, Abe, Jada, Micah, and Audyn; her brother, Ron (Patty Meyer) Beltz; her brothers-in-law, Dick Gentry and Jerry (Linda) Gentry; her half-sister, Manette Beltz; her half-brother, Andy Beltz; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. Margaret was preceded in death by her sister, Doris Downie. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 4, 2025 from 10:00 AM until the time of her Funeral Service at 12:00 NOON at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave., Hamilton, Ohio with Pastor Alan Weaver officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park.
