Margaret P. Hunter

Margaret P. Hunter passed away on Monday July 14, 2014 at 6:47 AM at Hospice of Hamilton. She was born on May 30, 1919 in Butler County to Frances (Staarman) and Aloysius Day. On June 8, 1940 she married Harold D. Hunter who preceded her in death in 1978. She worked in the Probate Court for 15 years, retiring in 1981. She was a lifelong member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Millville.

She is survived by her three daughters Linda M. Ramming of Nashville, TN, Lois J. (John) Keller and Diane F. (Louis) Robinson both of Hamilton; grandchildren Christine M. Keller of Hamilton, Scott D. (Melissa Smith) Ramming of Cincinnati, Jennifer M. Ramming of Nashville, TN and Lora M. (Michael) Pateras of West Chester; four sisters Mary F. (Ray) Conlin of Hamilton, Norma L. VonHolle of Mason, Rita M. Heinrich of Cincinnati and Janet M. (Dick) Wurzelbacher of Hamilton; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, brother Paul J. Day, sister in law Rita Day and brothers in law Dick Heinrich and Don VonHolle. Margaret was strong in her faith and devoted to her entire family. The family would like to thank Dr. Daniel Niehaus, Colonial At Home Caregivers and the entire staff of Hospice of Hamilton for their kindness and loving care.

Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday July 18, 2014 at 11:30 AM at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 2550 Millville Avenue, Hamilton. Burial will follow in St. Stephen’s Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday July 17, 2014 from 5-8 PM at the Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, Hamilton.
