Margaret Jeanette Carberry, age 67 of Hamilton passed away in Hospice of Hamilton on Friday, January 30, 2009 at 11:25 AM. She was born in Hamilton on May 11, 1941 the daughter of Levi and Nettie (Cox) Isaacs. Margaret was a member of Full Gospel Mission. On March 1, 1969 in Hamilton she married Robert Carberry.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Carberry of Hamilton; a son, Steven (Rebecca) Stigall of Middletown; three daughters, Pamela (Jay) Sandlin of St. Clair Township, Cathy Clay of Hamilton, and Beverly (Ron) Riley of Hamilton; six grandchildren, Keli (Justin) Campbell, Dustin (Kristine) Lema, Nicholas (Julie) Sandlin, Steven Lema, Ashley and Emily Riley; three great-grandchildren, Ike, Alexia, and Max; two sisters, Goldie Dunham and Melvena Isaacs, both of Hamilton; six step-grandchildren, Benjamin, Sarah, Elizabeth, Desiree, Kylie, and Brendon; and one step great-granddaughter Becca. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Terry Stigall; and a brother, Lewis Isaacs.
Funeral Service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Tuesday, February 3, 2009 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Gertrude Roberson pastor of Full Gospel Mission officiating. Burial will follow in Hickory Flat Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday from 5:00PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
