Margaret L. Parsley

Margaret L Parsley, age 85 of Fairfield, passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2015. She was born in Stamping Ground, Kentucky on March 16, 1929 to Grover and Katherine (Gatewood) McCoy. On November 22, 1947 she married Perry Parsley and together they enjoyed over 50 years of marriage. Together they enjoyed many years of boating and camping at Brookville Lake with their family. She worked for Avon for 15 years and retired in 1995.

She is survived by her children Connie (Frank) Woolard, Karen (Rick) Plowman and Katherine (Jim) Asher; grandchildren Eric Plowman, Jill (Bill) York, Dustin Plowman, James Asher, Michelle Parsley and Savannah Asher; great grandchildren Olivia Plowman, Sophie Plowman, Alex York and Aubrey York; a brother Bobby (Hazel) McCoy and a sister Carol Minor; and other nieces, nephews and family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her grandson Michael Plowman, her brother Joe McCoy and her sister Mary Smith.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at 11 AM with Rev. Rick Witt officiating. Burial will follow at Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 16, 2015 from 5-7 PM at the funeral home.
