Margaret Stevens, a woman of strength and faith, passed away peacefully on August 10th, 2023, with her loving daughter by her side. Born in Knox County Kentucky in 1942, Margaret ventured to Hamilton at the age of 18, where she met the love of her life, Marshall "Jeff" Stevens (deceased).
For many years Margaret was a valued employee of the Avon Company, working various roles at their manufacturing facility. Upon retiring she worked at Argosy Casino and in the bakery of her local Walmart.
Beyond her working life, Margaret's heart was warmed by the joys of family. She loved her dogs across the years, she enjoyed reading, visits to casinos, and watching NASCAR races. Yet, above all else, her heart found its greatest joy in her cherished grandchildren, Katie and Anthony. Their laughter and visits were a source of endless delight, and her love for them knew no bounds.
Margaret is survived by her beloved daughter, Kim (Mike) Mickunas, who was a constant source of love and support throughout her life's journey. The bond they shared was a beacon of strength and love. Her memory will also be carried forward by her remarkable grandchildren, Katie and Anthony, who will forever be inspired by her love for them.
A family Graveside Service to honor Margaret's life will be held on Tuesday, August 15th at 2:00 PM at Butler County Memorial Park, 4570 Trenton Oxford Rd, Hamilton, OH 45011. The arrangements for the service are being conducted by Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home of Hamilton, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made in Margaret's memory to the charity or cause of your choice.
"Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near; still loved, still missed, and very dear."
