Margaret E. Willsey

Margaret E. Willsey, age 94 of Hamilton, passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Thursday, March 22, 2018. Margaret was born in Hamilton, Ohio on January 25, 1924 to Frank Eckstein and Christine (Kleepher) Eckstein. On June 15, 1946 in Covington, KY, she married Thomas E. Willsey Sr., and he preceded her in death on Nov. 21, 1988. She was a member of the Eagles Aux. #3986, enjoyed playing saxophone, playing piano, and playing the Saw in the family band. Margaret was also a member of the Queen of Peace Catholic Church. She was a loving and caring Mother and Grandmother.

Margaret is survived by her children, Thomas E. (Pam) Willsey Jr. and Shirley Turner; her grandchildren, Thomas E. (Tammy) Willsey III, David Willsey, Jaime (Rick) Schirmer and Ashley Turner; her great grandchildren , Kosa Willsey, Savannah Willsey, Morgan Schirmer, and Addison Schirmer; and her great great granddaughters, Lylah and Mahalie. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; one grandson, Ricky Willsey; and two sisters, Irene DeLong and Marie Brown.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 2550 Millville Ave., Hamilton, Ohio, on Monday, March 26, 2018 at 11:00AM with Fr. James Wedig of Queen of Peace Catholic Church celebrant. Burial will follow at Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 26, 2018 from 10:00AM to 11:00AM at Queen of Peace Catholic Church. Memorial contributions can be made to Queen of Peace Catholic Church.
