Marian L. Dorenbusch

Marian L. Dorenbusch, age 85, of Hamilton, passed away at Chesterwood Village, West Chester, Ohio on Tuesday August 11, 2009. She was born in Richmond, KY on August 5, 1924 the daughter of Joseph and Eva (Cooper) Hatton. Marian was a 1943 graduate of Hamilton High School and was employed as secretary for the City of Hamilton. She was an avid cat lover.

She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lt. Stanley Dorenbusch, who passed away in November, 1968; three brothers Joseph Hatton Jr., George Hatton, and Robert Hatton; and three sisters, Nora Hatton, Margaret Hatton, and Bernadine Ross.

Funeral services will be held at Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Ave., on Saturday, August 15, 2009 at 11:00 AM with Dr. Stephen Sams of Axis Chirstian Church and Mr. Jack Young officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association or to Vitas Hospice. The family extends a heartfelt thank you to the staff and residents of Chesterwood Village and the staff of Vitas Hospice for their care and concern.
