Marie Tepker

Marie Tepker, age 91 of Hamilton passed away in University Hospital, Cincinnati, on Monday, November 10, 2008. She was born in Perry County, Kentucky on February 6, 1917 the daughter of Samuel and Martha (Williams) Colwell. Marie was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, where she was active in the Ladies Aid Society and the Tuesday morning Bible study group. In 1963 in Darrtown, she married Carl J. Tepker, Sr., and he preceded her in death in 1986.

She is survived by five children, Gail (Bill) Phelps, Carl (Carolyn) Tepker Jr., Marcia (Bob) Day, Timothy (Martha) Tepker, and Susan Buell, all of Hamilton; a sister, Ruthene Fugate of Ezel, Kentucky; thirteen grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two children, Don Campbell and Barbara Robertson; and eight siblings.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Friday, November 14, 2008 at 12:00 noon with Rev. Kevin Jud of Immanuel Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon. Memorial contributions may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church Christian Service Committee.
