Marilyn J. Rhodus

Marilyn J. Rhodus, age 80 of West College Corner, passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2023. Marilyn was born in Hamilton, Ohio on August 21, 1943 to Edgar Rhodus and Clara (Roark) Rhodus. She enjoyed bowling, watching TV game shows with her cats, getting pedicures with her daughter, going to her sister-in-law’s to play card games and meeting her classmates for lunch once a month. Marilyn was a loyal friend and confidant to many, and we all know she never missed a game of bingo with her sons.

Marilyn is survived by her three children, Randy Harbaum, Kevin (Kim) Harbaum and Robin (Matthew) Rhodus-Mayo; two step-children, Cindy Keaton and Misty Rhodus; nine grandchildren, Jessica, Michael, Brooke, Corey, Danielle, Angel, Chelsea, Blake and Denver; seven great-grandchildren, Ranoa, Amira, Kaylee, Alayna, Elise, Oakley and Waylon; sister, Donna (JL) Peters; four sisters-in-law; and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 43 years, Cecil Rhodus; step-son, Doug Rhodus; grandson, Alex Harbaum: daughter-in-law, Melody Harbaum; sister, Dorris Ann Rhodus; and brothers, Duane Rhodus, Eddie Rhodus, Eugene Rhodus and Tommy (Julia) Rhodus.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 1, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Oxford Baptist Church, 4111 Oxford Trenton Road, Oxford, Ohio 45056 with funeral services beginning at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow at College Corner Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the College Corner Food Pantry, 33 Junction St, West College Corner, IN 47003.
