Marilyn D. Steele

Marilyn D. Steele, age 71 of Hamilton passed away at Mercy Franciscan at Schroder on Sunday, June 19, 2011 at 12:00 noon. She was born in Hamilton on June 29, 1939 the daughter of Harry and Florence (Wirbel) Symes. Marilyn was employed in the deli/produce department at Meijer for ten years, retiring in 2002. On March 13, 1961 in Newport, Kentucky she married Arthur T. Steele, and he preceded her in death in 1986.

She is survived by three children, Sherri Bradford, Cindy (Tim) Royer, both of Hamilton, and Thomas Steele of Cincinnati; and a brother, Richard Symes of Cincinnati. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mercy Franciscan at Schroder.
