Marion Cox

Marion Cox, age 88 of New Miami, passed away on Monday, June 18, 2018. Marion was born in Brown County, OH on March 23, 1930 to John P. and Margaret Cox. Marion was an Army veteran. He married Virginia Montgomery on August 15, 1955. Marion retired from Mosler Safe Co. after 25 years of service. Marion loved playing the piano and any other instrument he could get his hands on.

Marion is survived by his wife of 62 years, Virginia Cox; his children, Mark Cox, Paul (Sonya) Cox, Carla (Tim) Wyatt, and Anna (Brian) Jarvis; his grandchildren, Nicole, Jamie, Jennifer, Stephanie, Paul, Kateland, Jaclyn, Timothy II, Gregory, Aaron, and Taylor; his 14 great grandchildren with one on the way; and his special nieces and nephew, other family members and friends. Marion was preceded in death by his parents; his siblings; his son, John E. Cox; his daughter in law, Lori Cox; and his grandsons, John D. M. Cox and Adam Beare.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio, on Friday, June 22, 2018 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Walt Philpot officiating. Burial will follow at Hickory Flat Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 22, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home.
