Marjorie B. Cowan

Marjorie B. Cowan, age 91 of Hamilton, passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Tuesday, February 10, 2015. She was born in Reily on April 16, 1923 to Homer and Mary (Banks) Baker. She was known for her needle working, and made many Christmas stockings over the years for family and friends.

She is survived by her children, Connie Quillen, and Ron (Betty) Cowan; grandchildren, Angie (Scott) Plessinger, Alex (Jarod) Meyers, Bob (Jamie Wilcher) Cowan, Karen (Keith) Frazier, and Tammy (Joe) Reeder; great grandchildren, Joshua, Nathan, Danielle, Aaron, Dalton, Tiffany, Michael, Caelyn, and Amanda; great-great grandchildren, Camden, Austin, and Beckett to arrive soon. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Cowan; a granddaughter, Monica Conner; brother, William Baker; and her parents.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Saturday, February 14, 2015 at 12:00 PM with Pastor Andrew Hancock of Allison Avenue Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Oxford Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2015 from 10:00 AM- 12:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Greater Cincinnati Chapter in her honor.
