Mark Johnson

Mark Johnson, age 52 of Hamilton passed away at Ft. Hamilton Hospital on Thursday, October 4, 2007 at 7:08 AM. He was born in Hamilton on November 30, 1954 the son of Rufus and Dorothy (Marcum) Johnson. Mark loved playing drums, working on cars, and helping others. Mark was a member of Eagle’s Wings Praise & Worship Center.

He is survived by his wife, Patsy Johnson; three sons, Mark Johnson Jr., Tom Vickers, and Tim Webb; four daughters, Karen and Deana Johnson, Heather (Ted) Parrella, and Heidi (Adam) Chapman; two brothers, Lynn and Brian Johnson; three sisters, Loretta, Debbie, and Tammy Johnson; and 24 grandchildren, Elijah M., Isaiah, Adriana, Brooke, Mya, Season, Autumn, David, Haley, Jaylon, Serenity, Kailee, Tia, Desiree, Thomas, Kayla, Daisy, Zane, Austin, Elijah J., Cameron, Noah, Darian, and Preston, all of Hamilton. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral service will be held at Eagle’s Wings Praise & Worship Center, 1550 University Blvd., on Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at 12:00 noon with Pastors Gary and Cheryel Tarter officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Tuesday from 11:00 AM to 12:00 noon.
