Marlene Arminio, age 89 of Fairfield, passed away at UC West Chester Hospital on Friday, December 26, 2025. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on February 17, 1936 the daughter of James and Helen (Knighton) Duggins. On October 19, 1957, in Hamilton, Ohio she married Joseph J. Arminio and he preceded her in death in 2018. She was employed by Cincinnati Bell, Marilyn’s Dress Shop, and McDonalds for numerous years. Marlene was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Italian American Society and enjoyed going to the local casinos.
Marlene is survived by two children, Michael (Jill) Arminio and Kelly (Jake) Jennings; five grandchildren, Jillian Jennings, Cameron (Kora) Arminio, Rheagan (Jon) Politowski, Jeffrey (Carrie) Jennings, and Jacob Jennings; one great grandson, Jax Jennings; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and seven siblings, Ruth Pfaffman, Bud Duggins, Carol Lewis, Clifford Duggins, Donald Duggins, Ed Duggins, and Gladys Rodgers.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 400 Nilles Rd., Fairfield, Ohio, on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at 10:30 AM with Fr. David Sunberg, Celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio 45011. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
