Martha Grimes

Martha Grimes, age 80 of Dayton passed away at Sycamore Hospital on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at 12:10 PM. She was born in Hamilton on September 22, 1929 the daughter of McKinley and Lucy (Combs) Sizemore.

She is survived by five children, Charles Grimes, Debbie (Dean) Dillingham, both of Hamilton, Robert (Melissa) Grimes of Staunton, Virginia, John Grimes of Dayton, and Scott (Hope) Grimes of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; six grandchildren, Niki, Tony, Jessica, Noah, Anna, and Sarah; six great-grandchildren, Eli, Dom, Dalton, Shae, Chase, and Mason; two brothers, Stanley (Betty) Sizemore of Cincinnati and Robert (Lucille) Sizemore of Hamilton; two sisters, Gladys Shepherd and Myrt Lemp, both of Hamilton; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Ray Grimes; her parents; three sisters, Mary Hiatt, Juanita Sizemore, and Margaret Sizemore; and one brother, Brad Sizemore.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, Hamilton, on Friday, March 19, 2010 at 11:00 AM. Entombment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
