Martha E. Jenkins

Martha Elizabeth Jenkins, age 63 of Hamilton, went on to be with the Lord and her departed loved ones on November 11, 2018. Marty was born to Lester Robinson and Lobeda Maupin on September 23, 1955.

Marty leaves behind five children, Michael Sorber, Crystal Sorber, Tasha Gibson, Paul (Stephanie) Carpenter, Earl "Buddy" Carpenter; her grandchildren Marcus, Sarah, Jasmine, Abby, Aaliyah, Michael II, Trey and Sydney; her mother, Lobeda Garrett; her sister and best friend, Juanita Bowling; her siblings, Lester (Doreen) Robinson, Patsy Glidden, Debbie (Tom) Roark and Melissa (Bobby) Bowling. Marty was preceded in death by her husband of 18 years, Edward Jenkins; her father Lester Robinson; five of her siblings, Darrell Garrett, Toni Robinson, Leslie LaCroix, LaJuana Brooks and Sherri Clark.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Ave., Hamilton, Ohio, on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at 12:00 PM with Rev. Linda Banks officiating. Burial will follow at Hickory Flat Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home.

Marty's family would like to thank Dr. Kathleen Alter for her loving care of Martha throughout her life, she was so much more than a doctor to Martha and her family. Family would also like to thank her granddaughter, Sarah, for the care she gave her grandma. Also, a special thanks to Hospice of Cincinnati for the home care and Hospice of Hamilton for their tender care toward Martha.
