Martha Lipps

Martha Lipps, age 85 of Hamilton, passed away at Wellington Manor on Wednesday, October 31, 2007 at 10:00 PM. She was born in Clay County, Kentucky on December 28, 1921 the daughter of Robert and Laura (Lunsford) Wells. In 1937 in Liberty, Indiana she married Joseph Lipps and he preceded her in death in 1984.

She is survived by five sons, Joseph (Polly) Lipps, Robert (Phyllis) Lipps, Randy (Brenda) Lipps, Jerry Lipps and Billy Lipps; three daughters, Mary Louise (Tim) Dodson, Barbara McCracken and Patricia (Clarence) Schaub, all of Hamilton; one brother, Robert (Dorothy) Wells of Spokane, Washington; nineteen grandchildren; and several great and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Dennis and Ronnie Lipps; brother, Ben Wells; sister, Mary Wells, and son-in-law, Ray McCracken.

Funeral service will be held at Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Monday, November 5, 2007 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Jacob Flannery officiating. Burial will follow at Hickory Flat Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
