Martha C. Pater

Martha C. Pater, age 84 of Hamilton, passed away at UC West Chester Hospital on Tuesday, December 18, 2018. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on August 15, 1934 the daughter of Howard and Marie (Schoech) Schreck. On October 22, 1960 in Hamilton she married Jerry E. Pater. Martha was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She was employed at Sears in Hamilton and at the YMCA Fairfield for a number of years.

Martha is survived by her husband Jerry E. Pater of Hamilton; three children, Lisa (Steve) Cochran of Frisco, Texas, Steve (Shauna) Pater of Liberty Township, and Karen (Randy) Asher of West Chester; one sister, Jeanette Schreck of Englewood, Ohio; three grandchildren, Chase (Faith) Cochran, Allison Cochran, and Sydney Asher; and numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Thomas Schreck.

Family and friends are invited to attend prayers at the Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at 9:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 171 Washington St., on Saturday, at 10:30 AM with Fr. Rob Muhlenkamp, Celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Stephens Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church.
