Martha E. Smallwood, age 93 of Fairfield, passed away at Fort Hamilton Hospital on Thursday, May 8, 2014. She was born in Manchester, Kentucky on March 15, 1921 to Harve and Laura (Scalf) Jones. She was a charter member of the Fairfield Church of God.
She is survived by her five children, Wayne (Kathie) Smallwood, Dorothy (Bill) Garland, Lavone Johnson, Reva (Philip) Neer, and Eddie (Connie) Smallwood; 17 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 9 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband O. B.; son Bill Smallwood; one great-grandson, Joseph Sawyer; and her seven brothers and their wives.
A graveside service will be held on Monday May 12, 2014 at 1 PM at Rose Hill Burial Park, Hamilton, Ohio.
