Martha Sue Wallace, of Hamilton, Ohio, born May 7, 1938, passed peacefully from this life on Thursday, January 12, 2012. She lived a full life and now at the young age of 73, she is gone and will be missed by many.
Martha was originally from Athens, Ohio and then spent the last 20 years of her life in Reynoldsburg, Ohio where her husband Samuel Wallace preceded her in death last year. She moved to Hamilton to be close to family and she spent the last year of her life enjoying her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Boyd Potter and Evelyn Bluhm; her brother, William Potter; and her son, Thomas Stevers, Jr.
She was employed for many years by GNC in Columbus, Ohio, before retiring in 2003. Her creativity, fun loving personality, love of music and poetry will be fondly missed. She will also be forever remembered by her parrot, Angel Bleu; and her dog, Coco Chanel.
She leaves behind a host of friends and acquaintances. She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Tice (Tim Tice) of Hamilton, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Holly Cook, Rachel Wagner, Shannon Stevers, Tonya Osepchuk, Fawn Stevers, Ian Stevers, and Benjamin Tice; and eleven great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday, January 16, at 4pm with the funeral following at 5pm, at the Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave. Interment will be in the New Marshfield Cemetery in 4517 Old State Route #56 Athens, Ohio 45701, on Tuesday, January 17 at 1pm.
