Martin A "Marty" Blackwell, age 50 of Hamilton, passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2014. He was born in Hamilton on October 15, 1963. Marty was a caregiver, he was kind and compassionate to all.
He is survived by his mother, Donna Bown; children, Samantha, Adam, and Alex; three grandchildren; sister, Angel Bown; a niece, Allyson McConnell; nephew, Matthew Hickey; and a cousin, Jordan Saylor. He was preceded in death by a brother, Dillard "Dinger" Campbell; an uncle, Russell Saylor; and his grandmother, Louise Saylor.
Funeral service will be held at Greenwood Cemetery, 1602 Greenwood Avenue, on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at 10:00 AM with Pastor Stephen Schick officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 11, 2014 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM at Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue.
