Marty Ray Winkler

Marty Ray Winkler, age 42 of Hamilton, passed away at Fort Hamilton Hospital on Thursday, November 1, 2007 at 5:00 PM. He was born in Richmond, Kentucky on October 3, 1965.

Marty is survived by his mother and father, Martha (Whicker) and Thomas E. Smith of Hamilton; three brothers, Virgil Lewis (Janet) Winkler, Jr., Robert William (Jaime) Winkler, and Thomas E. Smith, Jr.; one sister, Theresa Ann Smith; special friend Hazel Fletcher; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by two brothers; Sherman Roy Winkler and Shane Winkler; and his grandparents, Tite and Grace Whicker.

Funeral service will be held at Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Monday, November 5, 2007 at 2:00 PM with Danny Holden officiating. Burial will follow at Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the funeral home. The family would like to give a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Garden Manor for all their care and support.
