Marvin R. Binegar

Marvin R. Binegar, age 85 of Hamilton, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, September 1, 2024. Marvin was born in Hamilton, Ohio on June 23, 1939 to the late Paul Binegar and Margaret (Nichting) Shroyer. At the age of 10, he moved to Houghton Lake, Michigan, graduating from Houghton Lake High, Class of 1958. Shortly after graduating, he moved back to Hamilton where he met the love of his life and wife of 64 years, Marlene (Vidourek) Binegar. Marvin worked at Mosler Safe Company and later at SOS where he retired at 62. He then delivered Meals on Wheels for 19 years.

Marvin is reunited in Heaven with his son, Joseph Paul Binegar; his parents and his stepfather, Charlie Shroyer; and his siblings, Delores “Dee” or “Sis” (Binegar) Arnold and Ronald (Karen) Binegar.

Marvin will be dearly missed by his wife, Marlene; his two sons, Anthony (Alice) Binegar and Michael (Jenny) Binegar; his five grandsons, Joseph S. (Jamie) Binegar, Joshua (Allison) Binegar, Justin (Cameron) Binegar, Jacob (Claire) Binegar and Jon Lee; his granddaughter, Jamie Nicole (Katelyn) Binegar; nine great-grandchildren, Bryauna, Lilian, Anthony, Scarlett, Madison, Jordyn, Emersyn, Jackson, and Lincoln; his special friends, Amanda & Chris Saylor, Toby & Anne Troyer, Al Bell, Wayne & Pat Baker, and Kenny & Bev Tarter; and his good neighbors, church family, and many other friends and relatives.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 9, 2024 from 10:00 AM until the time of his Funeral Service at 11:00 AM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave., Hamilton, Ohio with Pastor Dave Garrett officiating. Burial will follow at Darrtown Cemetery.
