Marvin F. Riegler

Marvin F. Riegler, age 81 of Hamilton, passed away at his residence on Saturday, March 12, 2022. Marvin was born in Hamilton, Ohio on April 23, 1940 to William Riegler and Flora (Waltner) Riegler.  He worked in education for 25 years as a carpentry teacher for Hamilton City Schools and then moved to D. Russell Lee as an administrator.  He was a graduate of Miami University, and supported their Women’s Volleyball program for many years.  Marvin enjoyed wood working, remodeling his homes, along with taking his projects to many craft shows throughout the years.  He made toys for the Children’s Hospital, and also made Christmas ornaments for family and friends since 1986.

Marvin is survived by  his daughter, Lori Noga; his grandchildren, Ashley (Justin) Rice, Erin Noga, Nick Noga, Alex Noga; his sister in laws, Ruth Riegler and Judy Riegler. Marvin was preceded in death by his wife, Lorene Riegler; his parents, William Riegler and Flora Riegler; and his two brothers Frank Riegler and Bill Riegler.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave, Hamilton, Ohio, on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at 11:30 AM.  Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park.  Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2022 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home.  Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Southwest Ohio.
