Mary Agnes Becker

Mary Agnes Becker, age 92 of Fairfield passed away in Hospice of Cincinnati at Blue Ash on Tuesday, January 15, 2008 at 1:00 PM. She was born in Hamilton on August 2, 1915 the daughter of James and Anna (Lynn) Sears. Mary was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. On June 2, 1937 in Hamilton she was married to Aloysius Becker, and he preceded her in death in 1981.

She is survived by one son, Hugh (Mariann) Becker of Dayton, Ohio; one daughter, Connie (Larry) Decker of Georgetown, Ohio; seven grandchildren, David, Kathy, Pam, Julie, Cassi, Joe, and Anna; and also fourteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Walton, Edgar, and Harvey Finfrock, and James Sears; and two sisters, Lydia Schultheiss and Helen Kroeger.

Prayers will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Saturday, January 19, 2008 at 11:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 12:00 noon with Fr. Larry Tharp, Celebrant. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to Hospice of Cincinnati.
