Mary Ann Barnes, age 68 of Hamilton, passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Monday, December 12, 2016. Mary was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on March 26, 1948 to Harry Durham and Frances (Cook) Durham. On November 19, 1988 in Springdale, she married Ralph Barnes. Mary was a school bus driver for Hamilton City Schools for over 25 years, retiring in 2012. She enjoyed painting, and also loved doing crafts.
Mary is survived by her husband, Ralph Barnes; one child, Jeff (Jennifer) Stacy; 7 grandchildren; two brothers, David (Elizabeth) Durham, and Calvin (Karla) Durham; and eight very dear friends. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Frances (Cook) Durham, Harry Durham; her daughter, Tammy Clarkston.
Celebration of life service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio, on Friday, December 16, 2016 at 4:00 PM with Clergy John Johnson officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 16, 2016 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes donations be made to American Cancer Society, or to the National MS Society. Condolences may be made at www.browndawsonflick.com
