Mary C. Lagedrost

Mary C. Lagedrost, age 87 of Hamilton, passed away at Bradford Place on Friday, July 11, 2014 at 7:50PM. She was born in Hamilton on December 4, 1926 to Frederick and Clotilda (Ortmann) Krogmann. Mary was employed at Mercy Hospital as a registered nurse for 40 years. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. On September 30, 1950 she married Edward T. Lagedrost, they spent 57 years together, and he preceded her in death on July 1, 2007. She enjoyed knitting, reading, gardening, and loved spending time with her granddaughter.

She is survived by one son; Ted (Karen) Lagedrost, of Fairfield; one granddaughter, Jennifer (Shane) Shackelford; numerous neices, nephews, other realitives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Anna Mae Krogmann; and one brother, Louis Krogmann.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 171 Washington St., on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at 11AM. Burial will follow at St. Stephens Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at the Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave. from 9:30AM - 10:30AM. Memorial contributions can be made to Mercy Hospital.
