Mary Clear

Mary Lou Clear, age 90 of Hamilton, passed away on Thursday, September 8, 2016. Marywas born in Hamilton, Ohio on April 2, 1926 to Harvey Saurber and Margaret (Kirsch) Saurber. Mary Lou was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She was the President and CFO of Fin-Pan Inc. She enjoyed traveling, sewing, cooking, and spending time with her family. On July 6, 1946, Mary Lou married Ted Clear and would have four children together.

Mary is survived by her husband of 70 years, Ted Clear; her children, Gail (Marvin) Duff, Steven (Violet) Clear, Lisa (Douglass) Schaffer; her grandchildren, Heather (Kelly), Jason (Dena), Eric, Todd, Amy (Andy), Andrew (Misty), Ryan (Courtney), Sarah and Christopher; Nine great grandchildren and one on the way; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mary was preceded in death by her son, Terry Clear; her siblings, Dick, Don, Phyllis, Bob, Bill, and Peggy, and her parents. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her. Our hearts are broken.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 171 Washington St., Hamilton, Ohio, on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at St. Stephens Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 12, 2016 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home 1350 Millville Ave. Hamilton 45013. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the St. Joseph 150 year Anniversary fund or the St. Joseph BELS Fund.
